What's racist in stating a fact?
- zo1 12y agoJudging by the way the racism card has been thrown around in the media lately, I'd say something like this is very likely to happen (if it weren't for it's ridiculousness): "Study finds library XYZ has only 5% of minority A. Therefore, library XYZ is unfairly discriminating against minority A". They then go backwards to post-rationalize and assign reasoning/causation in order to 'explain' the discrepancy. "Well, 20% of all developers are of minority A, therefore they are not fairly represented if there are only 5% of them using this library."
