- xtrumanx 12y agoAnyone else feel uncomfortable by the above comment.
- steinnes 12y agoNot really, I think both guys in the issue discussion are obviously very smart, and I can identify with their respective frustrations. I do think Jake's comments are a little harsh as the README refers to Phantom Open Emoji in the 2nd paragraph -- however if I had just spent hours debugging something like this, making an annoyed issue on GitHub could be the outcome.

- WorldWideWayne 12y agoWhy should they? Jake already revealed his full name over at Github.
- xtrumanx 12y agoIf Reddit has taught me anything it's that linking information about someone people may dislike sometimes leads to harassment. Hopefully the HN crowd is mature enough to engage in such tactics but I have a very low faith in any internet community in general.
- wismer 12y agoAt least HN is a notch above GamerGate
- fnordfnordfnord 12y agoHe has used his real name and posted his personal website on his github profile. What's the problem?
- computerjunkie 12y agoNot uncomfortable, but disappointing that someone, who founded their own company, would lash out to someones work that decided to share to the world for free. There is being rude, and there is being down right disrespectful.(which has been displayed in that comment)
- aaronem 12y agoSomeone who should know better, then. Disappointing. Perhaps he was simply having a very bad day.
