Doesn't share price typically go down after a dividend payment, by exactly the amount of the payment per share?
- tinco 12y agoThey do, but that's a very short term logical thing. If you reason about the long term, the stock that pays a steady and steadily increasing divident is obviously worth more than one that doesn't.
