Yep. Discrimination is the whole point of interviewing job candidates. You are trying to discriminate between the ones fit for the job and the ones not. :)

- gaius 17y agoIt depends on whether it's a coded way of asking if the candidate is married/has kids. Interviewer: Do you work on an open source project outside of work? Candidate: No, I'm too busy looking after my kids and Church activities Interviewer (thinking): Oh shit, I better have a damn good reason to give to HR if I reject this candidate...
