Are we saying the power to cause harm is what makes surveillance bad?
Google has the authority to blacklist webpages so that they drop off Google search results and destroy the income of those websites.
- dublinben 12y agoBeyond income even, if you can't find a site on Google, it may as well not even exist. Regulators in China and the EU are so focused on censoring search results, because they know it's the most efficient way to control information.
