I wonder what Paul would think if he was interacting with these "not mean" people in a capacity other than super successful rich guy that these people need in order to make money. Seems like a bit of a lack of self awareness to say "welp, these guys are nice to me, the person they most need to be nice to, so they must be nice guys".
