Is there any problem for porting Occulus Rift to iOS similarly of what they have done with Samsung devices ? I mean except some exclusivity contract with Samsun

Is there any problem for porting Occulus Rift to iOS similarly of what they have done with Samsung devices ? I mean except some exclusivity contract with Samsung I can't find a reason why it couldn't work on iOS. Even John Carmack would be more pleased to develop for iOS instead of Android.
