- giarc 12y agoIt's taken down (I think). The box around the first result is no longer there, but the result still appears.
- nl 12y agoI believe Google's "One Box" question answering has a semi-manual processing of "trusted" sources. For a long time only a selected set of highly-trusted sources were used, but my understanding is that they are now a lot more aggressive with using sources - which I suspect means automatically using sources above a certain trust level, and then gray-listing problem sites.
- spullara 12y agoStill works for me. Probably user dependent.
- darrenkopp 12y agostill happening for me.
- at-fates-hands 12y agoWhich is always curious to me how someone with a rock solid website can have one wrong link on their site and BAM! they're delisted for months, and have to go through copious amounts of customer service levels to get their site to show up again. And yet, this and the Rick Santorum searches have been reported on by plenty of mainstream media. And yet, it stays up for months on end. It's like, "Don't try and manipulate the SERPS, unless of course it's politically motivated and Liberally slanted, then we'll let it slide."
