You could try just using ffmpeg (depending on your definition of easy). In most instances it will simply be a case of something like ffmpeg -i input -c:v lib

ffmpeg -i input -c:v libx264 -crf 20 -c:a libfdk_aac output.mkv
- Igglyboo 12y agoI second this, I bet most of those freeware programs are just shitty GUIs around ffmpeg anyway. I doubt the developers of those programs care about GPL violations either.
