I'm not sure how that's something that static typing provides, just seems like good functional programming/referential transparency.
- sgrove 12y agoTrue, but signatures help statically verify that side-effects can't happen at a call site, giving you reassurances that it's non-side-effecting. Same with referential transparency, I believe.
