I'll stick my own off-topic comment under yours. I agree. All the emoticons and LOL's and extremely liberal use of the exclamation mark just rubs me the wrong way. We're probably picking nits. I'm sure Mr. Lee doesn't intend that impression at all, and is probably overcompensating to make sure his tone isn't misread as hostile or argumentative. I've noticed myself doing this at times, seeing how often other commenters infer a different tone than what was intended.
