That's exactly the origin of the word "disruption." It was industry lingo for a dominant player facing fundamental changes to the market (and their balance sheets) from innovative competitors.
- na85 12y agoThose aren't the same things. A competitor eating into your profits isn't necessarily making fundamental changes to anything. WestJet no doubt eats into Air Canada's profits. Have either of them distrupted anything?
