Simple solution: use a GC'd language. The GC will find those references, even in registers of other threads.

- jules 12y agoYes, once. Not once per lock free algorithm.
- jamesaguilar 12y agoKinda agree with this flippant response, but then again, if you need speed such that you care about lock free algorithms, you are likely using one of the very fast languages, and few of these offer a garbage collector.
