I got Glass in April 2013. I realized that I used Google Glass to solve two problems: 1) Taking pictures and video of my day. 2) Telling the time. The notifications features were not useful to me and being seen in public with the device on was embarrassing. I ended up deciding to make my own version of Glass (called Lambda Hat) that was more discrete and solved the first problem above and left the second to my cellphone.
