Doesn't look like I can debug websockets? Chrome's network tab allows you to see websocket frames, but you have to navigate away from it and back to it again to refresh it -- which is a pain.
I'm not seeing where/how to view frames in the network tab here, but perhaps I missed it?
- zimbatm 12y agoLast time I checked Firefox didn't support showing the websocket frames
- mtrycz 12y agoI vote for this. Websockets have been around for years, and are becoming normal in day to day internet. Mozilla was one of the biggest promotors. I'm using them more and more. It just doesn't make sense that I can not debug websockets in Firefox.
- zaphoyd 12y agoI end up doing much of my WebSocket app development in Chrome for this reason alone. I'd love to see WebSocket message inspection in the FF dev tools. I'd also like to see the tools go farther with minimal formatters for messages, particularly messages in JSON format.
