Interesting read and captivatingly well-written. OT question: How long does it take you to write such pieces? I am trying to better myself in expressing written opinion and looking at these examples I am feeling more intimidated than encouraged. Thanks.
- patio11 12y agoThis particular post took roughly 20 hours, spread over four days. That's rather longer than typical for me -- usually, I get a post out in a single workday, but this ended up being longer than usual and it needed a tone edit or three. (The first draft felt bitter/cynical, which is a piece of my relationship to salarymanhood, but only a piece.)
