We didn't have enough time to run exhaustive benchmarks for all the different possible combinations of active sockets, requests per connection, etc. As you might suspect, 400 was a sweet spot for our performance numbers at 1 core. Overall RPS didn't dip too much when increasing the number of connections. The table we included is just to give a rough idea of perf.
