  As far as I can tell, it's not a novelty, there has been other similar research. Gravity -> certain types of interaction theories -> restrictions of entropy -> time. That connection has been condensed into "gravity causes time". Bleh. The article is making sweeping statements, as usual. Physics undergrad here, done some advanced courses but not an expert on this stuff
