The ISPs seem just as mad about the proposal as we do. I'm convinced after watching Wheeler that he isn't so much corrupt as he is some combination of stupid and corrupt. I guess that's what makes him an "inspired choice" as Comcast put it.
As for Mozilla, it's possible they were convinced the FCC was going to go for section 706 entirely at the time, and pushed for something to increase the chance that they wouldn't be completely fucked.
