in a nutshell they're refusing to implement a blacklisting mechanism and being stubborn about it.
- cookiecaper 12y agoSince the project is open source itself, I wonder if they'd accept a pull request that implemented a blacklist.
- ahome1 12y agoThat would be an interesting way to deal with the developer's response that he add one himself: "Perhaps there should be a "black list" that prevents certain projects from being added. But I am not yet sure if we should develop this feature since motivation is not clear to me."
- theonewolf 12y agoThey actually claimed/stated that if you want these features, go code them yourself.
- davesque 12y agoRight, seems like it to me. This other stuff about the legitimacy of Bitcoin, taxation on uncollected payments, etc. seems a little over the top. However, I do think there's an interesting debate on the opt-in/opt-out issue. People are saying that Google itself is an opt-out system, but the "right to be forgotten" seems like a real concern to me.
