I think the category he means is chat-based collaboration with a ton of seamless third-party integrations. Enterprise collaboration is too broad and elides the differences between Slack and, say, email or a wiki. Of course, you might agree with the person you're responding to and think the differences are being exaggerated. Personally that has not been my experience.
