I disagree. I think this falls under the realm of "I don't want to work with people who disagree with who I am as a person." - I see that argument tossed around by people who may have tattoos, crazy hair, piercings, etc. Sure - if you're having a tough time finding a job, you will need to make sacrifices; but for some people that isn't worth it. Max may want to show who he is as a person and not compromise. Also - if you read the article, it's actually quite humorous.
