Does anyone know the answer to this in three dimensions? I'm curious how many points it takes to always be able to find a convex tetrahedron.

- ColinWright 12y agoYou'll need to be more careful about what you're asking for, because 4 points in 3D always gives a convex tetrahedron, as there are no non-convex tetrahedra. The convex hull of four points (no three colinear) is a tetrahedron.
