I was quoting the parent post, who had a theory about Amazon lobbyists and a "national Internet sales tax". The point was to show that federal tax coordination efforts are in the spirit of existing tax law, and that his conspiracy theory was a mischaracterization at best. He then deleted his post. I can't delete or edit my post now, and it's not clear to me that I should--but it seems the absence of context hasn't stopped people from passing judgment. Thanks for your consideration, guys.
