Thanks for the link. At [ngeurope](ngeurope.org) Miško pointed out that they we're specifically not aiming to create yet-another-language. Instead they are evaluating ways for JS to evolve beyond ES6 and are planning to propose AtScripts features for ES7 (or whatever is next). This falls in line with the recent trend that new features start out in transpilers instead of browsers.
