I've been messing around with the new email schema stuff that Google has had out for the past year or so. I'm really looking forward to having a more intelligent layer around email. It's a great messaging protocol but up until now it's been mostly contextless. I don't see email going away anytime soon and projects like this just confirm its usefulness.
