- ladytron 12y agoWhat about it? Scientists are doing a trial run in Pennsylvania now where they put people with multiple gunshot wounds in suspended animation for up to two hours. They expect little brain damage. Get it up to a few more hours, and I think successful transplants can happen. Also, as other posters had noted, this man had been paralyzed for 2 years. If you fixed the cut immediately I assume there would be less functional degeneration and scar tissue.
