  Yeah, selling chickens in the morning promising afternoon delivery and then buying up all the surplus chickens after lunch at the reduced price.

    Oh, it sounds much more realistic when you put it that way. I actually wasn't sure what a real-life application of "short selling" would look like.

      It was more or less a thought experiment on whether it would be possible to sell negative chickens.
