I liked the storytelling as well, the only part that annoyed me was the way he continued to drop back into the romanticizing of the characters. You've already hooked me, I want to know what happens next, I don't give a shit about the lifestory of the engineer, I only care that he's an engineer and how he got involved in the story. Other than that, I thought it was a great writeup.
