Speaking as someone whose writings as a teenagers are often dragged up by Internet trolls with no disclaimer about when they were written, I find myself extremely, extremely sympathetic to Quora here.
- amirmc 12y agoAre those teenage writings being dragged up specifically via the wayback machine? Did you try removing/changing them only to be thwarted by 3rd parties who'd made copies of the old material? You may be sympathetic but I'm guessing that this situation is not really comparable.
- Eliezer 12y agoYep. Wayback machine specifically, on sites whose robots.txt I can no longer control, and I'm sure the trolls have hard copies by now.
