last week I submitted coderjobs.net to HN[1]. the idea was that people could sign up to get job opportunities based on their interest. we were on the frontpage for a couple of hours[2], and had about 1000 people sign up! so clearly, there is some interest for getting job offers via mail. after looking at the signups, i saw that almost everyone (86%) said that they were interested in remote work. a pivot sounds silly, so lets call this a spin-off: remoteworknewsletter is the same idea, but focused on remote work...

[2] we were #4 actually, but somehow "It set off the HN flamewar detector" (wrongfully) and we were buried on page 3 after that. I wrote an email to hn, daniel unflaged it manually, but i think it was already too late. thats why i hope it is fair game that i am resubmitting this, although the two ideas are very similar?
