Monkeys placed together in the same room, but in different cages (that are outside any touching distance of each other) all get Ebola if one monkey is infected - due to any type of cough producing airborne droplets of fluid that are them inhaled by everyone in that room. All you have to do to get Ebola is walk near the area that an infected person sneezed in, at some point in time shortly afterwards, or be in a confined space with him/her.
