Very good point. It seems that this was tagged "Type-Feature" which is meant to mean "Request for new or improved features". I'm not sure how removing functionality is a "new or improved" feature, except from the developers POV due to reduced complexity. This is probably not how the users would define "new or improved". They possibly need a new tag for "Type-FeatureRemoval" or similar.
