Ah, the old "If I don't wear a helmet, I'll ride more cautiously and never get into a wreck" argument.
- megablast 12y agoThere is an argument that car drivers are more careful when they see cyclists not wearing helmets. And also the overall health benefits are better, when you consider that more people will ride without helmet rules. Only Australia has this requirement.
- jff 12y agoCrap, I was talking about motorcyclists, but didn't specify it in my post. This is literally an argument I have heard from other riders.
