While the sensors theoretically could be made trustable, for some level of trust, I would be very wary of trusting at the level of safety critical application. Inadvertent vulnerabilities and attacks by malicious actors would be catastrophic. My prediction: "crashdummy" will eclipse "heartbleed" and "shellshock"!
