High speed isn't a huge advantage for trains that have to stop at a lot of stations.
- melling 12y agoBetter acceleration will. Sure, the local trains won't benefit as much; but in NYC, at least, there are express subway trains. Also, consider that the "small" benefit for the local train is applied to millions of people a day. That'll add up to lifetimes.
