Am I do only one having a huge (yet still growing) list of preordered and backed projects and waiting for their delivery? If I sum up the pending ones up, it's thousands of dollars. If I put all that money in the stock market and buy the products after they are on the market, and read the reviews, I'm sure I'll be saving money and not be worried that I'm getting schemed all the time.
- iaw 12y agoI'd supplant savings account with stock market. The stock market is a little frothy as of late and a pull-back has been in the works for a while.
- kolev 12y agoBacking is also a high-risk "investment". :)
- jrockway 12y agoThe money in your savings account decreases in value with inflation, so that's not a risk-free strategy either. Maybe inflation-indexed treasuries are what you want, but those are also not risk-free!
