I'm staying on 7 for at least a couple more minor versions. iOS 8 was incredibly buggy so far, with the 8.0.1 update almost bricking phones, and 8.0.2 introducing a lot of bluetooth connectivity issues/wi-fi slowdowns and battery problems. The 5S has a weak battery life as is, I don't need it shrunk to a half day.
