We’re considering adding an async mode for individual transactions, but that opens a few issues in terms of consistency and error-handling, and we’d definitely want to address those if we offer that method in the API. For now we think the best route is to let people defer the writes themselves since you know best when the write will be executed and what conditions may arise, but you’re not the first person to ask so we’ll definitely take another, harder look at adding this.
