The site is down, but does he mention why thought ought to be 1 million is enough? Why not 100000? Why not 5000?
- seanflyon 12y agoPeople cannot survive (self sufficiently) on Mars without an industrial base and we don't have that clear of an idea how many people that will take. It has never been done with anywhere near as few as 1 million, but we are getting better at it so maybe we could reduce that number even further.
