- nl5874 12y agoOP here. Yes, I have plans to opensource this. I'm just looking for the right awesome design, then it will be opensourced.
- profsnuggles 12y agoMaybe I don't understand what this service actually does. When you take away the file expiration and the convenience of not having to manage your own infrastructure what is left? I've had this script in ~/bin for years. SERVER="example.com" LOCATION="public_html/uploads" BASE_URL="http://$SERVER/uploads" scp "$1" "$SERVER:$LOCATION" echo "$BASE_URL/$1" | xclip -i
- Fastidious 12y agoAdd a cron job to that (to manage timed deletions), and you got a very sweet setup! :-)
- jonnyrockit 12y agoI built one that doesn't expire files and we're planning to open source it: http://purrrl.link http://purrrl.link
- patrickdavey 12y agoIt's quite heavyweight.. but I just installed https://owncloud.org/ https://owncloud.org/ on my own play VPS recently. Very happy with it so far. It's basically open source DropBox.
