> impact that killed the dinosaurs I once saw a talk about this at a scientific meeting, so the papers are out there. All I can remember from it is that they estimated the ejecta at "about the mass of the Sierra Nevada". This was quite a while ago so I'm sure they've got a better estimate by now.
