Why the hell would you choose LESS when it's so much worse than both SASS and Stylus.
- niftylettuce 12y agoBecause this is about speed. LESS comes native with Bootstrap out of the box and using it with Bower, FontAwesome, Gulp, and other tools is so easy and quick. The asset pipeline is so nice here I think (still can be improved though with `gulp-jade-usemin`).
- aikah 12y agoIt's really a matter of opinion.I personally hate the Stylus/Jade combo. LESS looks like CSS,designers/integrators know it or it's easy for them to learn.Same thing for template engines that abstract html too much.There's no need to do that. As for SASS,node-sass isnt in sync with the latest SASS version and you cant run it in a browser.LESS is good enough for most use cases.
