I just realized the latest SSF emulator can play the Saturn version deinterlaced in "high" resolution... it's about as close as we'll ever get to the real Hi-Ten game, but it looks absolutely stunning on my HDTV.
- lowbloodsugar 12y agoI finally let go of my saturn, two multitaps, 10 controllers, and this game. The 10 player mode was a bit hard on the eyes though. 8 player was awesome. How is it in HD and what's the maximum number of controllers in windows?
- nullnoop 12y agoThe real deal is much harder on the eyes than the emulator, the interlacing flashes are a headache. With the right emulator settings it's actually gorgeous and looks pixel perfect. You can actually play 10 players with the emulator, but I haven't tried it yet. I literally just discovered this yesterday, so I'm going to figure out what controllers to buy soon. 10 wired Saturn controllers was a mess, I'm hoping Bluetooth will work.
- Igglyboo 12y agoHonestly I'd get wired controllers or a wireless 360 adapter(doesn't use bluetooth). I've been through 5 different bt adapters on my raspberry pi and they all start crapping out after 3-4 controllers, bt just isn't fast enough. The 360 controllers can do 4 flawlessly and start slowing down after that but they're also way easier to setup and use than bt imo. Wired with a hub would be the best option if you don't mind the wires. 10 input devices is rough on any system imo.
