This kind of scares the shit out of me. To me, the human condition seems like a very fragile thing; more so than many seem to appreciate. With predictions like Mr Kurzweil's, I wonder and worry that our possibilities will grow too large too fast and beyond control. I usually assure myself in optimistic spirit that "the humane will prevail". But it's no absolute truth.
