Going to Amazon.com and purchasing a DVD is really that back breaking?
- Spooky23 12y agoIf you're into niche stuff, yes. One DVD of a early 1980s cartoon movie I was looking for sells for $75 on Amazon. The cheap titles are usually horrific quality-- almost worse than old VCR tapes.
- mindcrime 12y agoSpeaking for myself? Sometimes, yeah. I'm kinda impulsive at times. When it's 2:00am and I'm just struck by the urge to watch some random movie; if it's on Amazon Prime Video or Netflix, or if I happen to own the DVD, great. If not, I don't feel like driving somewhere to buy a DVD or waiting for Amazon to ship it to me. So yeah, I'm probably just going to torrent it.
- chc 12y agoIt's pretty inconvenient and financially unreasonable, yes.
- ArkyBeagle 12y agoAnd then what? You watch it once and keep it forever? Is there an online way to sell used DVDs?
- cbd1984 12y ago> Is there an online way to sell used DVDs? Honest question, since by implication Amazon is not an answer: eBay?
- ArkyBeagle 12y agoMaybe, maybe Craigslist. There are a few brick and mortar used DVD stores. Not many.
