Exclusive licensing rights are by definition a monopoly.
- JoeAltmaier 12y agoRight but it doesn't mean that nobody can make products using your patent; it means you benefit from it when they do. Which is not so much a societal problem.
- msh 12y agoOr as Kodak did, use your patent to prevent anyone from using the technology. Which is a problem for society.
