Ask HN: Relocating a company from US – UK

During the relocation of a company that is still active are there any good resources for how a company might transfer to a place outside of the US. I understand that any agreements would need to be resigned under the new company. The company would also retain the same name does that have any ramifications to the process? What about the tax and US Authorities how should they be notified? Are there any useful resources for this as I've only found articles to do UK -> US and not the other way around.
