I think that everyone has these thoughts regardless of their efforts to be "pure of heart" or whatever. I know that I've yelled some really, really nasty things while driving that I'm ashamed to recall. Terry's illness doesn't make him a bad person, and I think that all of us would be humbled and ashamed if our inner monologues' nastiest comments were broadcast to the world.
