Just returned from Hack the North in Canada this weekend. It was an awesome event. Lots of great people, including Sam Altman, were there presenting and providing mentorship. We ended up building an 'off grid webserver' with a raspberry pi. Several groups have done something similar but we decided to do it all from scratch. When I get a chance, I'll put an image of the SD card on github so you can avoid the serious pains in configuring the pi. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
